Please pardon me if I am not using the right terminology when I talk about dolls but its not my thing. Here is the story. My wife, Stephanie, passed away last June. She had been collecting dolls from the time that she was in grade school. So now I have her collection and have no idea how to dispose of it or even where to look for assistance. There are many Madam Alexander, Effenbee, Steif, Lee Middleton, Goebel, and others. A lot of older porcelin (I think) dolls that need to be restrung or whatever to get the legs and arms tight again, and just so many dolls that I don't know where to start. There are many old porcelin dolls from Korea (I think) plus a lot of cloth and wooden dolls from various countries. She also has many of the Norweign Trolls that she collected too. I live in Massachusetts and I have looked and can find no place around here to try and get an idea of what the value of the dolls are or where to sell them. I am hoping that one of the forum members may be able to help me find a knowledgeable person close to my location to assist in doing something with these dolls. I can be contacted thru the forum or email lhearold@micro-consultants.com. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
